At our Academy, we believe that every child deserves the best possible education. After all, an outstanding education leads to a lifetime of opportunity.
We involve you, the parents and carers, in every step of this education, because we know that you know your child best.
We are proud that Ofsted graded us as Good, but our favourite part is that they said the children ‘bubble with enthusiasm’.
Come and meet our enthusiastic learners

We have designed our curriculum so that it is creative, fun and interactive. Our focus on ‘life skills’ encourages children to become confident, independent and self-reliant learners. Teachers have high expectations for all pupils so that they reach their full potential - wherever that lies.
Every day children practise their basic skills through well-planned reading, writing, and maths lessons and throughout the week they work collaboratively on all other subjects.
As they move through the school pupils develop the knowledge and social skills they need to succeed, both at school and in the future.
Inside and out, our school is packed with inspirational spaces that add an extra dimension to the children’s learning.
Wide corridors and large airy classrooms are adorned with inspiring displays, a dedicated drama studio gives children pride in their performances, laptops and iPads bring technology to in-class learning and a well-stocked library caters for every child’s interests.
Our vast green fields and playgrounds provide ample space to play in, while a solar dome full of exotic plants and a conservation area with a wildlife pond and a sensory garden, create perfect spaces for outdoor learning.
We nurture every child so they can achieve their very best. Our creative approach to learning means all aspects of school life are packed full of opportunities and experiences. And we focus on serving everyone in the local community.
Our dedicated Special Support Centre can take in up to 20 children with autism. In this calm and nurturing space, specially trained staff plan individual programmes for each child who also join mainstream classes to learn and play with their peers. We believe this creates a rich and rewarding learning experience where every child thrives.
We are part of the University of Brighton Academies Trust. A family of 15 infant, primary and secondary schools in Sussex, all graded as Good or Outstanding by Ofsted.
Excellence, innovation and integrity are the values that guide us. We support each other, sharing insights and best practice so we never stop improving. Our mission is to deliver the best possible education for your child.
Being part of the Trust links us to the University of Brighton: a trusted education provider. We work closely with the University’s School of Education which Ofsted has judged as Outstanding for its teacher training programmes.
