You don’t know what you can do until you try …. I moved to England a year after finishing studying Ecology and Environmental Protection at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Romania in 2007. In the year preceding the departure I gained work experience as a laboratory assistant which helped me to develop valuable team work and communication skills.
Being a person that loves changes, I started working as a personal assistant in 2015 for TO Physiotherapy and still carries on at the present.
In September 2017 I started work as a Team Assistant for ACF Equity Research. I have strong analytical, planning and execution skills and I love working as part of a team both inside ACF and externally with our clients and prospective clients. I am used to working with and within senior leadership teams and understand the needs of small and medium sized companies through my current and previous professional experience.
I am passionate about the environment and work as a volunteer for the Sussex Wildlife Trust.
In my spare time I volunteer as a Local Governing Body within University of Brighton Academies Trust, in the local school’s PTA and have been a juror at the Royal Court of Justice in London.
I am a proud parent to two happy, healthy sons, my eldest has just started in year three, the youngest will be starting school in a couple of years.
I am a commercial manager for an interior fit out company and have worked in the construction industry for over 20 years, gaining several qualifications along the way and becoming a construction ambassador, to encourage youngsters to explore the varied roles within the construction industry.
In my spare time, I am a fitness and kickboxing instructor and thrive on my students achieving their fitness goals.
I previously volunteered at a local animal rescue and helped with their community engagement and fundraising.
I volunteered my time to join the Local Governing Body to gain a greater knowledge of how the school delivers an education to our youngsters and to aid in any way possible, using my strengths to engage the wider community.
